Staff Attorney Added to EHL Team
We are pleased to announce that Michael Fitts has joined
Endangered Habitats League as staff attorney. An experienced
litigator, Michael will also work on policy matters relating to
development and natural resource protection.

Michael was a senior staff attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council in their Los Angeles office for eight years. There, he played major roles in litigation against the San Joaquin Hills tollroad and in a national “smart growth” campaign.
After spending time in private practice and in the recycled plastics industry, this Southern California native is now returning to his real passion – land preservation and encouraging efficient and sustainable land use.
