The Board of Supervisors adopted a weakened but still enormously improved new General Plan – but immediately voted to consider amendments in 3 months.

In July 2011, EHL reached an agreement with the Eastern Municipal Water District providing for additional conservation of floodplain along the San Jacinto River near Hemet.

Five prime properties totaling 948 acres will gain protection in the first very successful round of Orange County Measure M land acquisitions.

EHL was quoted on the loss of the El Toro Conservation Area in Orange County, on our settlement with a water district over the endangered San Bernardino kangaroo rat, and on the new San Diego County General Plan.
