EHL Newsletter, EHL Newsletter • Fall 2013

EHL is focusing on federal permitting and related initiatives in the region to save the last of the SBKR and its wash community.

Before the Planning Commission and in CEQA comments, EHL defended not only an iconic ranch near Julian but also 70,000 acres adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest.

EHL worked with the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) and other stakeholders to make available $20 million in much needed funds to acquire wildlife habitat.

Covering 240,000 acres of spectacular mountains, deserts, and valley floors, a “Ranch-wide Management Plan” will guide state-of-the-art ranching and wildlife conservation.
